The Communication, Computing, and Technology in Education Program at Teachers College, Columbia University announces its 2012 Educational Technology Conference, “TCETC 2012: Technology, Media, and Designs for Learning.”

TCETC 2012 will take place on Saturday, May 19th, and Sunday, May 20th, 2012 at Teachers College, Columbia University, New York, NY.

This conference will serve as a multi-disciplinary forum for graduate students to discuss and exchange information on the research, development and applications of emerging technologies in PK-12 classrooms, at home environments and afterschool programs, distance learning settings, higher education, and corporate learning environments. Students from across the Teachers College community, and beyond, are invited to attend and share their research.

TCETC 2012 will feature guest speaker Lori Takeuchi, Director of Research for the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop.  Participants will receive breakfast and lunch each day as part of the ticket price, along with a wine and cheese reception on Sunday night.
